warp patterns is a generative art piece inspired by illustrations of weaving patterns and early computer graphics.

warp patterns features tightly woven pixel graphics that reward closer inspection. As the viewer moves closer to the projection, the color fields that appear solid from a distance reveal a much more complex set of visual patterns.

The work was on view in spring 2021 as a part of the exhibition Wish We Were Here at the Pratt Institute Manhattan Gallery in New York City.

It was then exhibited in the summer of 2021 in a modified form as a part of the first NUR International Media Art Festival, located in Kazan, Russia.
